Where to start…

Begin where you are

Shift from simply being spiritually nurtured to responding with intentional action – forming disciples who make disciples. Our gatherings and how we connect will support this shift from an inward focus to an outward focus.

Begin where you are and with what you have. Each person is entrusted by God with relationships, gifts, and influence. Disciple-making is about investing in others, whether one or a few, starting within your households or spheres of influence. It will look different for everyone, but the fruit will be the same: lives transformed through intentional relationship and spiritual growth. Who can you connect with?

  • Be prayerful.

  • Keep building relationships.

  • Be ready to share and serve.

Continuous connection

In 2026, we are creating opportunities for greater engagement as part of our vision for continuous connection. We are encouraging a culture of intentional care and engagement that goes beyond scheduled gatherings. Not everything is visible to everyone, when we share what we are receiving and what we are going through, we increase understanding, compassion, and prayer.

Stay Connected
We want to see you actively calling, checking in, and keeping in touch with one another—especially those you do not see regularly or are housebound.

Practice within families & friendships:

  • Build trust and deepen relationships within our own homes and circles.

  • Engage children in what is being shared and help them feel part of the community through prayer, discussion and shared activities.

  • Visit family members and friends, especially those who need support.

WhatsApp

The Impact Family Centre WhatsApp Community exists to foster continuous connection among members by providing a central space for:

  • Sharing announcements, devotionals, prayer points, and resources.

  • Coordinating gatherings and activities.

  • Offering encouragement, support, and updates.

  • Strengthening relationships through respectful, purposeful communication.

We believe that what one person receives may be what another needs, and sharing helps us pray more specifically, grow more deeply, and walk more closely together.

Spiritual practices

Daily Bible Scripture Reading

  • Cultivate a rhythm of daily devotion, shared insight, and ongoing prayer.

Regular Fasting

  • Deepen your relationship with Jesus through intentional time in the Word (scripture), meditation, and prayer.

Gathering Together

  • Stay spiritually connected and mutually encouraged.

Reflection and Renewal - Establishing a dedicated rhythm of rest

  • We are cultivating a shared rhythm of rest as part of our disciple-making journey. The third Sunday of each month is set apart as a gentle invitation to pause, reflect, and renew. This is not a full-day commitment, but a few intentional hours to begin practicing Sabbath rest in everyday life.

  • This rhythm is rooted in the biblical call to Sabbath and inspired by Practicing the Way, which frames rest as a spiritual discipline—a way to resist hurry, reconnect with God, and restore our souls. Whether you live alone, care for others, or raise children, this practice is for you.

  • We begin simply, knowing that rest is a journey. Over time, we will deepen this rhythm together, with the core team modelling weekly Sabbath on other days. For now, we invite every household and individual to join us in this monthly pause—a sacred space to stop, rest, delight, and worship.

  • This rhythm is not about perfection—it’s about presence. As we grow together, we’ll explore deeper expressions of Sabbath rest. For now, let’s begin simply, and trust that God meets us in the pause.

Outreach and care - A Practice of Presence, Compassion, and Connection

As part of our monthly rhythm, the fourth and fifth Sundays are dedicated to intentional outreach and relational care. This is a time to step beyond our routines and extend the love of Christ to those who may feel forgotten, isolated, or in need of deeper connection.

What this looks like:

  • Visit those who are housebound – Bring encouragement, prayer, and presence.

  • Reach out to those in need – Offer practical help, a listening ear, or a shared meal.

  • Reconnect with family members – Strengthen relationships through intentional time together.

  • Encourage one another – Send a message, make a call, or pray with someone.

This rhythm is not about doing more—it’s about being present. Whether you go alone, with your household, or as a small group, these Sundays are an opportunity to practice care as worship, and to build bridges of love and trust.
